Parkwest Medical Center supports quality and patient safety improvement initiatives, including the sharing of information so hospitals can work collaboratively to improve the health of our community. - 4-star awards for outstanding patient satisfaction from Professional Research Consultants, outpatient services, emergency department, outpatient surgery, 2005
- Gold Award, outstanding patient satisfaction, PRC, inpatient cardiology, 2005
- Level 5 Award (the highest award possible) from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement for prompt emergency care
- VHA Leadership Award for operational performance
- Posted near perfect laboratory scores in its most recent Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) surveys
- Parkwest Comprehensive Breast Center is an FDA/ACR accredited facility
