- Somatom 16-slice CT scanner, designed to improve diagnosis and treatment through image quality and advanced clinical applications.
- Lithotripsy uses shock waves to fragment urinary or kidney stones into small pieces, which can then usually be passed from the body. Patients receive anesthesia for mild discomfort at the site where shockwaves penetrate the skin, and the treatment usually takes about 45 minutes.
- A 1.5 Signa MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) provides advanced diagnostic imaging services, with ultra-fast capabilities and a feeling of openness for patients.
- 1st Medical Center in system to implement bedside Barcode Medication Administration as a patient safety measure. A nurse scans the patient’s ID bracelet, and then scans the barcode on the medication before administering it to ensure the medication belongs to this patient and that there are no documented adverse drug interactions.
